Tristan Welch

Tristan Welch

Tristan Welch worked his way up the food chain at top restaurants in London and Paris, including Le Gavroche and L’Arpège. He then settled in Scotland for two years at the five-star Glenapp Castle in Ayrshire, winning various accolades including the Gordon Ramsay Scholarship Award in 2003.

Tristan worked under Marcus Wareing before moving to Launceston Place in Kensington in 2007, where, as head chef, he re-launched the restaurant with a modern British menu. Tristan represented the South East in Great British Menu 2009 and won his heat.
