Anissa Helou is an author and food writer based in London. Born to a Syrian father and a Lebanese mother, Anissa grew up in Lebanon before moving to the UK to pursue a career in interior design.
She has since published seven cookbooks, the majority of which encourage the West to explore the food of the East.
