Romy's Kitchen opened in September 2013 on Castle Street in Thornbury, and made Romy the first ever female Indian chef-owner in the UK. Growing up in India’s West Bengal, Romy was introduced to recipes and styles of cooking from different regions of India. Since then, her passion for cooking has grown and when she moved to the UK her desire grew to introduce people to true Indian home cooking.
