Chris Bell was born in Ballymena and spent the early part of his career training with Paul Rankin and Michael Deane. He won the Gordon Ramsay scholarship in 2002 and went on to become head chef at The Longridge Restaurant in Preston, where he maintained its Michelin Star. In 2004 he won Northern Ireland chef of the Year.
Chris is currently head chef at The River Room Restaurant in Northern Ireland and has recently been awarded the coveted 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence.
