For the stewed plums, place all of the ingredients into a saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for 6-7 minutes, or until the plums are tender.
Remove the plums from the liquid using a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl.
For the sweet goats' cheese cream, place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix well to combine.
To serve, spoon some of the goats' cheese cream over the plums in the bowl.
