Removing vanilla seeds from pod

Splitting the vanilla pods and removing the seeds helps to release their flavour.

-With a sharp knife, slit the vanilla pod lengthways.

-Scrape the seeds out with the knife tip.

-Add the seeds to the dish you're cooking.
